Curator and Search Tools

Genebank staff primarily use two GRIN-Global programs to enter (and edit) and find data to meet the genebank's needs.

Staff typically input data on accessions as the accessions are introduced to the genebank. From that point on, the genebank's staff can track all sorts of related data and maintain a running history of genebank actions taken in maintaining the germplasm. For example, germination and regeneration tasks are important and should always be recorded.

The two main programs used by genebank staff are the Curator and Search tools.
